Facade engineering covers the calculations that guarantee the envelope holds its performance over time and in real operating conditions.
Our technical scope includes facade mechanics (wind, seismic, snow loads under local codes), building physics (detailed thermal calculation, thermal bridges, condensation, facade acoustics), air and water tightness (joint system selection, EN 12152/12153 or ASTM E283/E331 testing), and computational design for complex geometries.
We do not use simplified methods or standard rules of thumb on complex projects. Every calculation is run on the real project geometry, with the actual climatic conditions of the site and the construction systems actually selected.
Some projects mobilise technical specialties that go beyond standard facade engineering. Our atelier masters these vertical expertises and integrates them into the project approach when the brief justifies them. They do not bolt on top of the core scope ; they integrate into the design from preliminary stage, while integration is still possible without disproportionate over-cost.
